Vibration reduction of a high-speed train floor using multiple dynamic vibration absorbers

Due to local resonances, high vibration levels occur frequently in high-speed train floor, which impact on the ride comfort negatively. A method control excessive with multiple dynamic absorbers (DVAs) is presented. Firstly, possible causes of are investigated operational and modal tests. Then a model vehicle body DVAs established based superposition method. It found that strong peak at low frequency dominated by single mode, can be attenuated under-frame equipment as DVA. In region between 30 35 Hz several modes contribute, controlled DVAs. Methods studied determine optimal parameters for these DVAs, including location, natural mass. For DVA conventional fixed-point theory used, whereas an optimization proposed. Finally, effect verified full responses analysis. The results indicate proposed reduce targeted improve quality considerably terms vertical motion.
